today in class we briefly discussed the 13th and 15th amendments, then did a worksheet on the 14th amendment, and made a magazine cover form August 1865, advertising the 14th amendment being passed.

today in class we took notes on the beginning of the civil war- the first two battles, the battle of bull run, and the battle of antietam. we also discussed why abraham lincon wouldnt give up the southern states.

today in class we did a QR code scavenger hunt on the battles of the civil war.

today in class we talked about what we did yesterday, and we made a list of the Constitution vs. the newspaper from New Orleans. We did worksheets on Lincon's Inaugural speech. We talked about how Lincon's veiw of the union and secession.
